KNOWN HISTORY
We acquired this item from a U.S. Ambassador's Hong Kong estate sale. She was gifted this item from one of their museums. The wax seal on the top of the statue is a Customs marking to indicate that this artifact is rightfully owned by a private party and not stolen from a museum. The accompanying paperwork was lost in the estate.
